Yep, there are niches out there that sell...and sell a lot! Many internet marketers experience a major roadblock in finding products and groups of people to market to. This shouldn't be the case, and often times affiliate marketers give up on niches because they think that the competition is too high. I'm here to tell you that you can make money in highly competitive markets! In this article, I'll discuss a few affiliate marketing niches that sell, and also give you a few pointers along the way.
So let's start with some pointers! Remember when I said that you can make money in highly competitive markets? I wasn't just "saying" that. It can be done, and I've done it! The trick is this: find a broad niche, then break it down...break it down a little more...then again.
Let's take the niche Internet Marketing for instance. It's very broad, very competitive and there is a ton of money being made from it. But are you going to use the keywords "internet marketing" to push your products? I hope not. If you do, you'll be in for a long, long wait for that first sale.
What you need to do is think about how your target customer will search for your product. Yes, it's internet marketing, but break that down to something like, "how can I make money from home". Then, take it a step further and try, "how to make money from home with internet marketing". Do you see how I get more and more specific each time I break it down? This is where you can break into highly competitive markets and get your piece of the pie...so to speak! The basic premise is to find an industry that you know is making money, and find a "back door" into it!
Now that you have a little knowledge on how to break into some niches, you're ready to do some research. Here are a few affiliate marketing niches that tend to sell pretty well...even with high competition!
1. Internet Marketing - That's right! I just talked a little bit about internet marketing and how popular it is. And let's face the facts...people want to make money on the internet. And it's those people that are spending millions of dollars each year on it. There's plenty of money to go around in this niche, but breaking into it is the harder part. If you follow my previous advice on narrowing down your target audience, you can and will make money with this niche!
2. Weight Loss - The second of our affiliate marketing niches that sell is the weight loss industry. There are millions (if not, billions) of searches for weight loss and weight loss related products every day. Here again, we see another very broad and competitive market that can be broken into with a little "craftyiness"! The weight loss industry is a billion dollar/year business and promoting these products to the right audience can be a big payday for you!
3. Self-Help Products - Self-help products can be defined as anything from dog training ebooks, to tips on how to pick up women. They are easy to create, and are also easy to deliver to the customer (digitally). Digital products are very, very popular with affiliate marketers. The fact that they can be on virtually any topic makes it a little easier for the person promoting. Keywords and phrases are a little less competitive, which gets you more traffic and makes you more money! Of these affiliate marketing niches, self-help products should be the easiest to promote effectively.
Again, this is a million dollar/year industry so there is plenty of room and profit for anyone to break into this niche.
Just because certain affiliate marketing niches seem like they have too much competition doesn't mean that you can't break into them. Use the techniques that we discussed and you will be well on your way to finding that "back door" to get you into those multi-million dollar/year niches!
